Tip #1 : Use A Skin Moisturizer Everyday

The first acne skin care tip is to use an oil free facial moisturizer everyday to prevent the skin from becoming dry and dehyrated. Preferably, the facial skin moisturizer should come with added sunscreen of SPF15 or higher to protect the skin from sun damage. Also, during daytime, do not forget to wear sunglasses whenever you are going outdoor. Besides protecting the eye, sunglasses can also prevent the sun from damaging the skin around your eyes. Constant squinting could leave permanent creases over a long period of time.

Tip #2 : Quit Smoking

If you are a smoker, you should consider quiting smoking of you want to care for your skin. Cigarette smokes contain thousands of toxin materials and studies have found that one normal breath of cigarette smoke contains billions and billions of damaging free-radicals. These toxin materials coupled with the tonnes of free-radicals could make the skin to age pre-maturely. It also dulls the skin and making it dehyrated easily. So, quit smoking now and restore your skin's healthy glow.

Tip #3 : Cleansing The Face

If your facial skin is affected by acne and is prone to breakout easily, you should wash your face with an anti-bacterial soap at least twice a day. An anti-bacterial soap is designed to kill bacterias on the surface of the skin and it can help you control acne breakouts. Once the acne is gone, you should consider using a soap-free facial cleanser with deep cleaning to maintain a healthy skin. A deep cleaning facial cleanser is able to clean deep into the layers of the skin and remove bacterias, dirts as well as toxins. You should cleanse your face at least one a day.

Tip #4 : Use A Skin Toner

Use a skin toner every morning after you wash your face. A skin toner helps improve your skin tone as well as helping tighten the pores thus, keeping the skin supple and smooth. In addition to that, by using a skin toner every morning also helps keep your face from becoming excessively oily and shiny throughout the day.

Tip #5 : Apply A Lip Balm

As your lips are part of your facial skin, they are in fact, one of the most sensitive and delicate type of skin area that contains no hair, no sweat gland and is easily prone to environmental damages. Use a lip balm preferably one with sunscreening property of SPF15 or higher to protect against harsh environment and UV rays. Lip balm can prevent chapped lips.

Tip #6 : Use A Facial Scrub

Finally, use a facial scrub about one or twice a week to help exfoliate or scrub off dead skin cells and to revitalize the skin. Facial scrub greatly improves dull looking skin and it leaves the skin feeling totally fresh.

Nice information. I think what made a difference for me was drinking extreme amounts of water, more green leafy vegetables, much less enriched flour breads and 2 to 3 washes per day for oily skin. I'd like more info in microexfoliants though. Thanks
